Maurits Pot previously worked at Goldman Sachs in natural resources M&A, Vitol Group in crude oil trading, Kingsway Capital in public equity investing. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Middlebury College.

Matt qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PwC, where he managed a portfolio of audits across the asset management and funds space, before being appointed as Fund Controller at SV Health Investors, a multi-billion dollar healthcare asset manager. More recently, he spent several years as COO of Bermont Investments, a global equities manager with significant frontier and emerging markets exposure. Matt has both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Leeds and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Yuri spent over a decade at Majedie Asset Management managing UK and Global portfolios. As co-manager of the Majedie UK Income Fund, he helped build the fund from start-up stage, raising several billion in assets. He later set up his own long-only fund and sits on the board of a private Scandinavian biotechnology company. He holds degrees in Economics from University of Cambridge and LSE (distinction), as well as a degree in Bioscience Enterprise from University of Cambridge. Yuri is a CFA charter holder.

Prior to joining Tema, Shang was Managing Director at Simplify Asset Management where he served on the firmwide management committee and held various senior level roles spanning sales & marketing, product development, and trading operations.  As one of the first employees, Shang was instrumental in developing, launching, and marketing over twenty ETFs, while helping scale Simplify to over $4B in AUM.  Previously, he was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs where he focused on portfolio construction, asset allocation, and hedging solutions.  Shang has also held roles in investment management and investment banking at firms such as PIMCO, J.P. Morgan, and Credit Suisse.  

Shang holds a bachelor of science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  He has earned the Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF) designation and serves as an adjunct professor of finance at UNLV.

Jenny brings extensive asset management and capital markets experience to Tema, having served as Managing Director at Simplify Asset Management and co-founded asset management firm Headwaters Solutions LP, structuring custom volatility portfolios for institutional investors. Under her leadership, Headwaters was awarded 2019 Overlay Manager of the Year by EQ Derivatives, Inc. Jenny has held roles in Equity Research, Investment Banking and Corporate Banking at KeyBanc Capital Markets; Global Marketing Finance at Diageo Plc in London and Amsterdam; Financial Strategy at Hess Corp. (now Chevron); and taught financial modeling and valuation at Training The Street, Inc. Jenny is engaged in non-profit leadership, having served on the Board at Mashomack Preserve (The Nature Conservancy) and Full Circle Home, and on the Investment Committee for Laurel School.  She is currently the Treasurer for Alexander Robertson School.  Jenny holds a BA from Tufts University and MBA from Columbia Business School; and has been a recurring guest on Bloomberg Radio Daybreak Asia.

David Song, Investment Partner, has led biotechnology and healthcare investment teams throughout his extensive 25-year career at Rockefeller Capital Management, Millennium and Balyasny. He studied Economics and Biochemistry at Yale, is a medical doctor and has a PhD in Applied Economics from Wharton.

Chris is a global fund manager with more than 25 years of experience, 20 of which was spent managing a $5 bln global equities fund at TIAA, a leading US based financial services company. Chris managed the fund since inception and raised several billion dollars in assets over that time period. Chris has a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Union College in New York State.

Alex started his career in 2018 at JDE Peet's in Amsterdam, the biggest pure-play coffee company in the world. After having worked on the firm's IPO in 2020 during his time on the FP&A team, he went on to help establish the Investor relations department alongside the IR director. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University and is a CFA charterholder.

Mike is an experienced ETF sales professional who has spent over six years working with RIAs and wealth advisory clients. Before joining Tema, Mike spent over three years at Columbia Threadneedle Investments and three years at Putnam Investments.

Jay is an accomplished marketing leader with over 15 years of experience across global brands. He most recently served as Global Social Media Strategy Lead at Revolut, where he drove impactful social media initiatives for over two years. Prior to that, Jay held leadership roles at the BBC and Sky Betting & Gaming, focusing on social media strategies that generated substantial growth. His career began at Microsoft, where he rose to Senior Global Marketing Manager over eight years. He holds a first-class honors degree in Business Information Systems.

Previously, Edouard co-founded Trusted Family, the leading operating system for family offices. Edouard started Trusted Family as a project for his own family office, and grew it to become the leading governance platform for many of the most successful family offices in over 25 countries. Edouard remains a board member and close advisor to Trusted Family.

Edouard graduated in 2007 from the Solvay Business School. He has also completed the Leading the Family Business program at IMD, Switzerland.

Will began his career at Invesco in 2021 in the investment communications team, before moving to European passive fixed-income ETF house, Tabula Investment Management. With his primary focus on day-to-day operations, trading, capital markets and portfolio management, Will later contributed to the launch of new active ETFs upon Tabula's acquisition by Janus Henderson Investors. Will holds a Bachelor's in Modern Languages and Cultures from Durham University, and has the IMC certification. 

Fan is an external investment analyst. He spent nearly a decade as an analyst at Majedie Asset Management’s flagship hedge fund, focused on global equities. Fan holds an M.Sci in Astrophysics from University of Cambridge.

Yihua Mark Ma is a Life Sciences Investment Analyst at Tema ETFs. Prior to joining, he spent 2 years at PharmaVentures, a UK-based healthcare & life science specialist advisory firm. During this time, he worked on M&A, Asset Licensing, and Valuation Advisory projects, providing support to biotech, pharma, digital health, pharma services, and PE firms across various fields, including oncology, neurology, and ophthalmology. Additionally, he worked at LXL Capital, specializing in healthcare investment research, and he also served as a core member of BIT-China, an International Genetically Engineered Machine team. Mark holds a Joint Honors Degree in Biochemistry with Management from Imperial College London.
